The young man and his mother started the fast of Mangal Pradosh. After fasting throughout the day, lamps, incense and red flowers were offered to the Shiva temple in the evening. Meditating to Lord Shiva, he prayed for the protection of his family. After some time, fear and obstacles started going away from the young man's life.
